Wife and I liked it. That one episode was more interesting than the several SG:U we've seen, and we really wanted to like that.

SPOILER....

Also, HAHAHAH Wash got stabbed in the chest again.

When is it on? Can you watch on the web? I travel so much, I never bother to try to watch shows live, and we don't watch enough shows to warrent DVR.

I didn't watch it instead I passed out after getting the electric blanket on the bed and it turns out someone (stares at the wife and kids) had conflicting stuff on so no recording either.

It permired last night. I remember catching some of the original series when it ran -- it never caught my attention to warrant a "need to watch next week" so I'll probably completely space if I can't catch the pilot on line before next Tuesday.

Dude they'd have to light babies on fire to be worse than the original V series.

personally it wasnt bad but they put way too much stuff into the first 1 hour

****Spoiler Warning***

First theres the ambassador program (basically the V youth campagin in the original)

Secondly the fact that apparently there are Rebel V's already.

Thirdly they reveled that they are lizards in the first episode... yes we all know they are but come on make it more like the original in that case where someone escapes capture on the mothership and finds out that way....

Now the thing i did like is that there is apparent terrorist cells on earth to sew decepit and make things worse by starting wars etc. that was a nice addition and made sence to me.

Over all i would say its good will be interesting to see if all the changes on the back side and revamping / strife i have been reading about kills the series or not. Also will see if it lasts beyond the olympics considering they are i believe only showing 8 episodes then they go on leave till the end of the olympics then come back during sweeps against shows like house and some other big names. We will see. I hope so cause they could make it good if they dont cram so much into it that they ruin it.

It was OK. I like to see any of my Firefly actors working, so it was good to see Moreena Baccarin had a good role. I saw her in some of those Stargate episodes on reruns, and it was a bit sad. It is good to see her at all, really. But I'm not gay, so I'm a bit biased in her favor. The show wasn't actively bad at least, I hope it can reach new ground somehow, and show more development, especially of the members of the Fifth Column.

I am continuously disappointed in the decline of American creativity. How many old tv shows/miniseries/books/movies have been remade recently? Can no one in the country have an original thought in their little noggins anymore?

we're not trying to tell them what to think. we're only trying to show them how.
